This is the personal website of Mükremin Nergiz. It is a set of static pages: it has no user accounts, no forms, no comments, no advertising and no analytics, and it sets no cookies.
What is processed when you visit
- Web server logs. Like any website, the server records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string and the referring page. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
- Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests to protect the site against attacks and to deliver it quickly. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
No profile is built about you, nothing is sold or shared for marketing, and the data above is not combined with other sources.
If you write an e-mail, your address and message are used only to read and answer it. They are not added to a mailing list or passed on to anyone else.
Links to other sites
Links to ORCID, GitHub, LinkedIn, Zenodo, news sites and the Detectability tool lead to services with their own privacy policies. The Detectability tool at detectability.mukreminnergiz.com does not store the inputs you enter; see its About page.
Your rights
You can ask what data about you is held, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by sending an e-mail. Requests are answered within one month.
